STEM-Designated Programs

Workers for jobs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields are in high demand. As an international student, graduating from a STEM-designated degree program in the U.S. can help you work in some of the nation’s fastest-growing industries. 

International students who graduate from a STEM program at thCollege are eligible to receive an extension of 24 months through the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program, which allows them a total of 36 months to live and work in the U.S. Through the OPT program, international students traditionally are able to receive work experience training in the U.S. for up to 12 months.
