Our language programs help learners develop essential skills to strengthen their language proficiencies. These programs support both ESL learners and lifelong learners seeking to learn a new language. The workshops taught in this program are led by highly qualified and experienced language instructors and provide students with unique experiential opportunities for learning languages in professional, real-world settings throughout  New York City.

• Communication

  Communicating effectively is vital in both personal and professional settings. Sharpen your skills with these self-paced courses and certificates in writing, grammar, public speaking, presentation, and business communication. Form persuasive arguments, make compelling presentations, write error-free emails and documents, and increase your impact as a skilled communicator.

• English as a Second Language (ESL)

  Our two-week ESL + NYC Experience includes 15 hours of classroom English language training and practice per week.

• English for Business Communication

  Develop cross-cultural skills for communicating in an English-speaking business environment

• Manhattan College TEFL Certificate Program

  Earn an internationally recognized TEFL certificate from Manhattan College and gain experience in the classroom with a two-week practicum in New York City.

• TESOL Teacher Practicum

  Hone your teaching skills and bring your newly gained knowledge of English language teaching into the Manhattan College TESOL Practicum program. In addition to your practicum hours letter, a certificate from Manhattan College will also be provided to each participan
