English for Business Communication

This six-week course is ideal for business professionals and students who are learning English as a second language, and are looking to improve their communication skills. For three hours per week, we will help prepare you for the job search. You will learn email communication and resume writing, as well as how to write cover letters, memos, summaries, and more. Upon completion, students will create an e-portfolio.

In this course, you will:

  • Communicate effectively and professionally
  • Develop cross-cultural skills for communicating in American business environments
  • Meet executive-level, international and corporate leaders in human resources
  • Create business presentations and develop public speaking skills
  • Practice elements of the job search, such as resume, cover letter, and ePortfolio building
  • Study with experienced instructors who have ESL business backgrounds
  • Enjoy the convenience of evening courses, which meet once a week from 6:00PM – 9:00PM

You will receive a certificate upon completion of this program.
