The ARCH Division of Integrative Programs is the academic home for interdisciplinary majors, minors, microcredentials, and other programs that draw on faculty and courses from across Manhattan University.
These programs address fields that do not fit neatly within a single discipline. ARCH coordinates curriculum, advising, assessment, and long-term development, while courses and faculty remain rooted in their existing departments and schools.

From majors and minors to microcredentials and emerging areas of study, these programs give students opportunities to explore fields that cross traditional academic boundaries while remaining grounded in the expertise of the University’s schools and departments.
Where brain science meets computation.
The Computational Neuroscience B.S. brings together neuroscience, psychology, mathematics, statistics, and programming. Students study how neural systems give rise to perception, cognition, and behavior while building skills in experimental design, data analysis, computational modeling, and neurotechnology.
Where data becomes insight and action.
The Data Science B.S. brings together mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, and business. Students build skills in programming, machine learning, data visualization, and quantitative analysis while learning to turn complex data into responsible, evidence-based decisions.
Where brand strategy meets creativity.
The Integrated Marketing Communication B.S. brings together marketing, communication, media, analytics, and emerging technology. Students learn to understand audiences, build brands, and create content across every channel, with pathways in Content Creation and AI in Marketing and Communication.
Explore ARCH Minors
ARCH minors allow students to add an interdisciplinary area of study to their primary academic program. Drawing on courses and faculty from across Manhattan University, these minors help students build knowledge and skills in emerging and cross-disciplinary fields that complement a wide range of majors and career paths.
Designed for students across the University, the AI minor introduces the tools, applications, and broader implications of artificial intelligence.
The Quality Science minor prepares students to evaluate systems, improve processes, interpret evidence, and support reliable decision-making across industries.
The Sustainability Studies minor examines environmental, social, economic, and ethical challenges through courses drawn from across the University.

Advising and Student Support
ARCH coordinates advising among participating departments to help students navigate clear academic pathways, access required courses, connect with faculty mentors, and pursue research, internships, and capstone opportunities.

The ARCH Academic Council serves as the primary coordinating body for the Division of Interdisciplinary Programs.
