The University ranked 28th in the U.S. News and World Report rankings of the nation’s best regional colleges and universities in the North.
Manhattan University is designated as one of the top ranked schools in the Best Colleges rankings that participate in federal initiatives helping veterans and active duty service members pay for their degrees.
Additionally, the School of Engineering was ranked among the top 50 undergraduate engineering programs in the nation that do not offer a doctorate.

Manhattan University was recognized as the 73rd best college in the U.S. out of 584 institutions, according to The Wall Street Journal's 2026 Best Colleges in the U.S. ranking, placing the University in the top 13% nationwide.
The University ranked 5th among all New York-based colleges and universities, further solidifying its commitment to student success, academic excellence, and future job readiness.
When ranked by salary, the University earned a salary impact score of 94 out of 100, placing it in the top 3% nationally for the salary impact on its graduates. The University also achieved a social mobility score of 85.6 out of 100, ranking in the top 7% nationwide and reflecting its success in enrolling, graduating, and increasing the earnings of students from lower-income backgrounds.
