AIChE: American Institute of Chemical Engineers
The student chapter of the world's leading chemical engineering organization.
The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is the world's leading organization for chemical engineering professionals, with more than 50,000 members across over 100 countries. Chartered in 1963, Manhattan University's chapter participates in events such as the Chem-E-Car Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference and coordinates trips to local manufacturing complexes. All students are welcome, though chemical engineering majors benefit most.
ASCE: American Society of Civil Engineers
The largest student engineering chapter in the tri-state area.
The Manhattan University chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is a supportive community of peers passionate about building successful careers and improving society. Founded in 1927, the chapter has more than 400 members, making it the largest student chapter in the tri-state area, and enriches civil engineering education through networking sessions, technical lectures, and social events.

Business Analytics Competition

Every spring, the Business Analytics Competition and Conference at Manhattan University presents an opportunity for undergraduate students studying business analytics or a related field to test their knowledge and draw business insight from comprehensive data analysis. Members hone decision-making skills and connect with peers and professionals from across the country.
Fed Challenge
A national competition on monetary policy hosted by the Federal Reserve.
The College Fed Challenge is a national academic competition hosted annually by the Federal Reserve Bank. Students analyze the current state of the U.S. economy and present a recommendation for future monetary policy actions to a panel of judges who work at the Federal Reserve.
Innovation Challenge
For students ready to build an idea into a business.
The Innovation Challenge is for students thinking about entrepreneurship and wanting the experience of being on a startup team. The competition gives members the chance to develop an idea into a tangible business alongside peers and mentors.
Mini Baja
The team that designs and builds an off-road vehicle from scratch.
The Mini Baja club competes in Baja SAE, an annual intercollegiate design competition run by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Each year, members design and build an off-road vehicle from scratch that must survive rough terrain, simulating real-world engineering design projects and challenges. Engineering students benefit most from membership.
Mock Trial
A team developing courtroom and advocacy skills through simulated trials.
The Mock Trial team gives students hands-on experience with the courtroom through simulated trials and competition. Members develop public speaking, critical thinking, and advocacy skills as they prepare and argue cases, making it an ideal fit for students interested in law.
Model UN
A team simulating international diplomacy and global problem-solving.
Model UN gives students the chance to step into the role of delegates and simulate the work of the United Nations. Members research global issues, debate policy, and develop diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking skills through conferences and competitions.
Jasper Dancers
A nationally competitive Division I club dance team.
The Jasper Dancers are a club Division I university dance team that competes locally and nationally in jazz and hip hop, taking home the first-place national title for D1 Hip Hop at the 2019 National Dance Alliance competition and placing first at a 2025 regional. The team also performs at all home men's and women's basketball games. Auditions are open to all students, with experience in hip-hop, modern, and jazz a plus.
Jazz Band
A student ensemble performing jazz across campus.
The Jazz Band brings together student musicians to perform jazz at concerts and events throughout the year. Members expand their musicianship and share their love of the genre with the campus community.
Orchestra

The Orchestra brings together student musicians to rehearse and perform orchestral repertoire throughout the year. Members of all instrument sections develop their craft and share live music with the campus community.
Pep Band
The Jasper spirit squad that powers home basketball games.
The Pep Band is a mixed instrumental group of brass, woodwinds, and rhythm section that provides music for all home basketball games as part of the school's Jasper spirit squad in Draddy Gymnasium. The band has traveled with the Jaspers to the MAAC and NCAA Tournaments and performs at concerts throughout the year. Musical experience is required to join.

The University's marquee performing group since 1981.
The Pipes and Drums have been the University's marquee performing group since the band was founded in 1981. Members march in events including the world's largest St. Patrick's Day Parade up Fifth Avenue, performing alongside the Gaelic Society and representing Manhattan University with Jasper pride.

Manhattan Media Network (MMN)
The student-run television station and production club.
Manhattan University Television, Channel 37 on the University's cable network, operates as a student-run television station. The student club both runs the channel and produces original programming, giving members hands-on broadcast and production experience.

Delta Kappa Epsilon

The self-proclaimed Gentlemen, Scholars and Jolly Good Fellows of Manhattan University's Phi Mu chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon have built a name in philanthropy and fun since the fraternity's formal recognition in 2014. Each year DKE takes part in campus events including Safe Halloween, Harvest Fest, and Movember. Any male Manhattan University student is welcome to rush.
