Br. Frank Byrne

President, Christian Brothers Academy

Brother Frank G. Byrne, FSC has been President of the Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ since 2009. From 2002 to 2009, he served as Provincial of the New York Province of the De La Salle Christian Brothers. Brother Frank has also served as Principal and Assistant Principal and as a teacher and coach at St. Raymond High School for Boys in Bronx, NY, as Vocation Director for the New York Province of the Christian Brothers, and as a math and religion teacher and track coach at La Salle Academy in Manhattan. 

A graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Brother Frank earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame, his master’s degree in religious education from Fordham University, and his New York State teacher’s certification from Manhattan College. He serves on the boards of Christian Brothers Academy, Manhattan College, and Calvert Hall College High School, and on the District Council for the Christian Brothers’ District of Eastern North America. He is a past board member of La Salle School, La Salle Institute, and La Salle Academy. Brother Frank was honored with the 2003 Alumnus of the Year Award from Christian Brothers Academy and the La Salle Medal from La Salle Academy. Brother Frank has been a Christian Brother for 33 years and has been on the Manhattan College Board since 2002.
