Manhattan University Alumni Society
Every graduate of the University is automatically a member of our Alumni Society, an affiliation of diverse graduates of all ages.
The Alumni Society can provide invaluable networking opportunities. Many of our bright and talented graduates quickly find themselves in influential leadership positions, looking for employees or able to offer meaningful letters of recommendation. Make sure you stay connected to your Manhattan University network to give yourself that extra competitive edge.
Just as importantly, the Alumni Society is a fantastic way to stay in touch with your old friends. The fun you had on campus doesn’t have to end when you leave Riverdale.
All Manhattan University graduates are welcome to attend the quarterly Alumni Society meetings virtually or in person. Contact the Alumni Relations Office at (718) 862-7432 or alumni@manhattan.edu for additional information or to be included on the meeting invitation list.

Letter from Robert E. Colletti '91, President, Manhattan University Alumni Society
Dear Manhattan University Alumni,
As a 1991 graduate from the School of Engineering, it is a privilege to serve as the President of the Manhattan University Alumni Society. Our alumni community is 40,000 strong, and each of you plays an important role in upholding the values and traditions that make our alma mater exceptional. Manhattan University, as a Catholic institution with a Lasallian mission, has always provided an education that fosters not only academic excellence but also a commitment to civic engagement and service. A degree from Manhattan University represents more than academic achievement; it embodies the hard work, dedication, and unique spirit of our Jasper family. The education and experiences we gained at Manhattan have equipped us with the skills and values needed to succeed and make a positive impact in our professional and personal lives.
The Alumni Society exists to foster a strong, supportive network among graduates. We provide opportunities for professional growth, lifelong learning, and meaningful connections. By staying involved, you help strengthen our community and extend the reach and influence of Manhattan University for our collective success. Additionally, giving back to the University allows us to show our gratitude and ensure that future generations of students can benefit from the same enriching experience that we had. Your support, whether through time, talent, or treasure, is invaluable in sustaining the mission of Manhattan University.
I invite each of you to get involved with the Alumni Society by attending one of the many alumni events, participating in mentorship programs, or contributing to our initiatives, including the Gunn Medal and Athletic Hall of Fame. Your engagement with current students and fellow alumni is invaluable.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or suggestions to the Alumni Relations Office at (718) 862-7432 or alumni@manhattan.edu . Your feedback and participation are essential as we strive to support and connect our alumni network.
With Jasper pride,
Robert E. Colletti '91
