Communication students learn and work in the state-of-the-art Sumner Redstone Television Production Center, which uses fully digital 4K technology. From a broadcast-ready studio to post-production editing suites, the space is built to mirror the professional environments you will step into after graduation.

  • Camera Operation: The capability to tie in multiple studio and field cameras for coverage of Division I Athletics.
  • Transmission/Streaming: Encoding hardware and bonded cellular technology to transmit broadcast feeds live directly to the ESPN+
  • Intercom & Communication: Dedicated talkback systems that allow directors, producers, and camera operators to coordinate the live show.
