Investing in the strength of student and faculty research in engineering and science

Br.-Call_bw-1.jpgThe new Patricia and Cornelius J. Higgins ’62 Engineering and Science Center ultimately would be incomplete without our duly recognizing the Christian Brothers whose genius and hard work laid the strong foundations for Manhattan’s longstanding excellence in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.

Toward that end, Manhattan is launching the Brothers’ Legacy Project. Crowning this effort will be a permanent commemorative wall that will greet the many faculty, students and visitors who pass back and forth along the bright corridor connecting our new, third-floor laboratories in the Higgins Center and the revamped Leo Hall, our School of Engineering’s longtime home.

As part of this meaningful initiative, every donor who makes a gift will be recognized on our permanent Brothers’ Legacy Memorial Wall, adjacent to the timeline honoring leading Brothers in engineering and the sciences. Donors also may choose from many major named gift opportunities.

For more information about contributing to the Brothers’ Legacy Project, please contact Kevin Courtney, director, capital campaign: (718) 862-7714; kcourtney01@manhattan.edu

Make a Gift

The Brothers mantra, if you will, is ‘get the job done.’ Success means rolling up your sleeves and getting to work.
