Manhattan College Receives St. Patrick’s Day Parade Awards
The Pipes and Drums band and Gaelic Society were honored by the St. Patrick’s Day Foundation.
The St. Patrick’s Day Foundation recently honored Manhattan College’s Pipes and Drums band and the Gaelic Society for their performances in the 2019 St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The Pipes and Drums band took home second place in the High School and College Pipes and Drums category, and the Gaelic Society received third place among all colleges and universities that participated in the parade.
More than 300 Manhattan College students, alumni, family and friends marched up Fifth Avenue alongside the Pipes and Drums band on March 16, 2019.
Prior to the parade, nearly 150 alumni, students, faculty and friends of the College gathered at a pre-march breakfast reception at Midpoint Bistro & Bar, inside the Club Quarters Midtown Hotel.
