Relay for Life at Manhattan University is held each spring in solidarity with the American Cancer Society’s mission to support cancer survivors, raise money for a cure and eradicate cancer altogether.
The community event combines an all-day or all-night walk often led by a cancer survivor, with carnival activities and food, games for students, guest speakers and special ceremonies to remember those who have passed. Participating students form teams and fundraise together throughout the year. The event culminates in a big reveal of the total amount raised by the University.
How to Join
Relay for Life is open to all students, faculty and staff who want to support a great cause. Participants are encouraged to form fundraising teams with friends, departments, clubs or organizations. For more information, reach out directly to relayforlife@manhattan.edu.
