Develop your understanding of Italian history, culture, and religion while spending three weeks exploring the charming city of Florence. The program begins with a multi-day stay in Rome and includes visits to other cities and towns, such as Assisi, Pisa, Lucca, and/or Siena.

Courses & Credits
This program is open to all majors. Students choose one course for a total of 3 credits.
- RELS 200/300: Saints and Catholic Imagination (fulfils either RELS 200 or RELS 300 requirement; 3 credits)
- SOC 315/ART 402/ITAL 216/ITAL 316: Sociology of Diasporic Arts (3 credits)
The program is based in Florence, but begins with a multi-day overnight stay in Rome and includes excursions to Assisi and other nearby cities to allow participants to visit a wide range of sites of religious and cultural interest.
Logistics
Participants on this program will travel with a group of Manhattan University students and will be led by an MU faculty member. Tuition, excursions and cultural visits, round-trip flights out of New York City, housing in shared rooms for the duration of the program, some meals, and international health insurance are included in the program fee.
