Manhattan University welcomes students and scholars from around the world to our campus community in New York City. International Student and Scholar Services provides guidance, support and resources to help you make a smooth transition to life at Manhattan, connect with others and navigate the cultural, social and academic experiences that come with studying in the United States.

ISSS Services Provided

  • Maintain your F-1 status
  • Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
  • Optional Practical Training (OPT)

Walk-In Hours

No appointment is required. Students may visit International Student and Scholar Services to discuss questions or concerns related to visa regulations. ISSS is located in De La Salle Hall, room 445.

During the fall and spring semesters, 10-minute one-on-one meetings are available on a first-come, first-served basis every Wednesday.

  • Every Monday, 2:00–3:00 p.m. virtual group chat
  • Every Wednesday, 1:00–3:00 p.m. individual in-person meetings

Health Services

Feeling unwell? There is no fee for undergraduate student visits. Graduate student visits are $25.

To schedule an appointment, please email health.services@manhattan.edu or call 718-862-7217 during office hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Health Services is located in Alumni Hall, room 104.
