If an internship is required or considered an integral part of an academic program, eligible students must receive Curricular Practical Training authorization before participating in the internship.

Optional Practical Training (OPT)
Students are encouraged to consider post-completion Optional Practical Training after completing their academic programs.

STEM OPT Extension
Beginning up to 90 days before the end of post-completion OPT, eligible F-1 students may apply for a 24-month extension of full-time practical training.
