Manhattan College Rates Highly in Five Categories in U.S. News & World Report's 2021 Best Colleges

The College is among the top ten best colleges in the region for undergraduate teaching and for veterans.

People walking down quad stairsIn its annual roundup of best colleges and universities across the country, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Manhattan College highly among its peers. 

Manhattan College is the 13th ranked institution among regional universities in the North, according to U.S. News & World Report. It is the fifth consecutive year that Manhattan College has been ranked in the top 15 of that category, and the 14th consecutive year that it has placed in the top 20.

Manhattan College’s faculty and its veterans programs were also recognized by U.S. News. Among the best colleges for veterans in the region, Manhattan was ranked sixth. Manhattan also placed seventh in the region in the undergraduate teaching category.

The School of Engineering was ranked among the top 50 undergraduate engineering programs in the nation that do not offer a doctorate, coming in at No. 46. Manhattan College was also included among the top 100 colleges in social mobility.

The 2021 edition of U.S. News and World Report’s Best Colleges ranking provides data on more than 1,800 colleges and universities, with rankings for more than 1,400 institutions. Schools reported most of the data used to compile these rankings to U.S. News in an annual survey and were instructed to confirm the accuracy of their data.
