Class of 2017 Inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame
Nine individuals and two teams were recognized at the annual gala on campus.
Eight individuals, two teams and one legacy inductee were enshrined to the Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame as members of the Class of 2017 on November 11.
This year's honorees were:
- Chris Cody, class of 2007 (baseball)
- James Donahue, class of 1911 (baseball)
- Frank Gagliano, coach (cross country/track and field)
- Joseph Gallagher, class of 1949 (sports media)
- Ed Lawson, class of 1987 (basketball)
- Tiina Magi, class of 2007 (track and field)
- Jeff Rowett, class of 1998 (baseball)
- Robert Schimpf, class of 1972 (soccer)
- Tom Welling, class of 1965 (cross country/track and field)
