Green Dot

Green Dot

Green Dot is a violence prevention program that focuses on making our campus safer by empowering bystanders to become active members in reducing power-based personal violence (sexual assault, partner violence and stalking).

The name green dot refers to the mapping system used by law enforcement where red dots mark locations of criminal acts. With this program, we hope to replace the red dots on a map with green dots which represent acts that promote safety and that express intolerance for violence in our campus community

How to Join

Green Dot offers workshops throughout the semester, as well as resources about ways to reduce violence and change culture. Visit the Green Dot website to sign up for a workshop or contact the organization directly at greendot@manhattan.edu
