Government and Politics Club

Voting stickers.

The Government & Politics Club is open to all students eager to discuss, debate and voice their opinions on today’s political issues. The club also organizes a number of events on campus designed to engage students in political education and activism, and introduce career options in these industries. Some of these include:

  • Guest speakers who work in law, government and politics
  • Presidential debate parties
  • Campus-wide straw polls
  • Student debates on the Quad
  • Voter registration tables

How to Join

All students are welcome to join the Government & Politics club but students with a government major or specific interest in politics will benefit the most from membership. For more information, contact the faculty advisor, Margaret Groarke at margaret.groarke@manhattan.edu.
