The Black Student Union

The Black Student Union is an organization that provides students cultural diversity at Manhattan University, with special regard to students of African descent. Our purposes and goals are to develop political awareness, expand employment and promotional opportunities, and expand the quality of life on campus. We believe in fostering a community that provides students the opportunity to voice their opinions, differences, goals, and ideas.

How to Join

Club membership is open to any student interested in creating a diverse and inclusive environment on campus, as well as celebrating the culture of those of African descent. This club is open to any part-time or full-time undergraduate and graduate students. Sign up at the biannual activities and volunteer fair which happens at the beginning of each fall and spring semester, or contact the club directly at bsu@manhattan.edu.
