I am a financial economist, Associate Professor of Economics & Finance, and Director of the M.S. in Financial Analytics at Manhattan University's O'Malley School of Business, where I also hold the Gabriel Hauge Faculty Fellowship.
My research covers asset pricing and inequality, financial literacy, foreign investment, and the economics of AI. What connects these topics is an interest in when finance and technology deliver gains that are broadly shared, and why the answer often depends on institutions, culture, and economic crises.
Before my doctoral studies, I worked as a research associate at IOBE, Greece's leading independent economic policy institute. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from The City University of New York, Graduate Center, with concentrations in financial economics and economic development, an M.Sc. in Applied Economics & Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business, and a B.A. in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
