Transfer Credits

Within a 7-10 days of your acceptance to Manhattan University, we will notify you which courses and how many credits from your previous college(s) will transfer in to your Manhattan University degree plan.

We accept up to 64 credits from a community college and 90 credits from a four-year institution of higher education. Our credit transfer guidelines are as follows:

Credit will be granted only for specific work when completed at accredited institutions whose quality and course content have been approved by Manhattan University.
Generally transfer students will earn fifty percent (50%) of the credit necessary for individual program requirements for graduation at Manhattan University, excluding core, general education, and/or elective requirements
“P” grades may be accepted for credit but only if they represent a “C” or better as defined by the regulations of the institution of origin.
The University has partnered with several community colleges that enable students to transfer credits seamlessly, and have the opportunity for merit-based scholarships.
