Graduate Student Perspective

With the graduate assistant position, I work 20 hours a week, and they pay for my classes, which is great financially. I work in the Center for Academic Success. It's rewarding to see a student come in not really understanding a topic and seeing them leave fully comprehending, and just seeing a light click with them. That has been very rewarding.
