Every Manhattan University graduate benefits from the foundational courses Kakos offers. Spanning the basic and applied sciences, social sciences, education, health, and the traditional humanities, our programs build the interdisciplinary skills that make graduates desirable to employers and provide a pathway to any future career our students choose. With 33 undergraduate majors, 6 graduate programs, and 6 combined degrees across 12 academic departments, students are known for standout programs in Biology, Communication, Computer Science, Exercise Science, and Psychology, alongside fast-growing offerings in Digital Media Art, Criminology, and Game Design and Production.

Research, Outcomes, and Careers

A Kakos education turns intellectual curiosity into career readiness. Through faculty-mentored research and a New York City network of employers, our graduates launch careers across industries.

Our Summer Research Scholars programs (Jasper, Kakos Science, and Branigan) offer stipends to rising sophomores through seniors to develop research and creative projects in a discipline of their choice. Working closely with expert faculty mentors, students receive guidance from a project's initial development through to its successful completion, often presenting their work at regional and national conferences.
