The James Patterson Speaker Series

The James Patterson Speaker Series is a flagship component of the James Patterson Honors Program (JPHP) at Manhattan University. Through this series, elite industry leaders visit campus to share their ideas, engage with Honors students, and enrich the broader Manhattan University community.

What to Expect

• Exclusive student engagement: JPHP students have special opportunities to meet speakers in smaller settings: workshops, panels, or informal gatherings all enabling deeper dialogue and mentorship.

• Open campus events: Many Speaker Series events are open to the entire Manhattan community, all students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families. 

• Varied formats: Lectures, fireside chats, book talks, or interviews, the series will feature diverse formats to appeal to different learning styles and interests.

• Networking & inspiration: Beyond the content of the talks themselves, these events are catalysts: new ideas, new connections, new perspectives for students as they build their career paths.
