Manhattan University, the 172-year-old Lasallian Catholic University, announced that a number of its engineering students have received scholarships for 2025 from the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York).
Various levels of scholarships are awarded annually to students throughout the State of New York and, this year, Manhattan University was honored to receive ten of the scholarships – the most of any individual institution. The “Top Scholarship” which carries with it a stipend of $10,000 to each student, was awarded to two individuals, including Caroline Gilmore of Manhattan University.
Gilmore, a senior scheduled to graduate in December 2025, is a civil engineering major with a structural engineering concentration and a minor in mathematics. She has a 4.0 GPA and is a member of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society, as well as Chi Epsilon, the civil engineering honor society. A native of West Harrison, NY, she currently has a structural engineering internship at Conlon Engineering in Norwalk, CT.
