Manhattan College Mentoring Program Adds Virtual Feature
Online site offers expanded access for students and alumni connections
The Center for Career Development, with the backing of the Alumni Relations team, is offering more ways for mentors and mentees to connect. The Jasper Career Network platform, is another addition to Manhattan's already successful Mentoring Program which was created 26 years ago.
Our 2023-2024 cohort included 227 student mentees and 179 alumni mentors. Those numbers are likely to expand with the support of this platform. Users can gain career guidance and can be connected to countless resources and professional opportunities. Experts in every career field are proud to be a part of this new platform, which will facilitate matching students with mentors.
Over the years, alumni mentor coalitions have organically formed across various industries and organizations like AECOM, ConEdison, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Montefiore Medical Center, NYC Department of Education, Port Authority of NY & NJ, STV, NBC Universal, and Turner Construction.

In addition to the alumni network, this online community links to Handshake, the premier site for internships and jobs for college students.
