Manhattan College today announced that Michael P. Mulrooney has been named the Executive Director of the newly-formed Jasper Central. Opened earlier this year, Jasper Central combined the services and staff of Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Accounts into one convenient location on the School campus and now will report directly into Mr. Mulrooney. All Jasper Central counselors are cross-trained in the mentioned financial areas to respond to student needs in an enhanced and efficient manner.
Mr. Mulrooney comes to the College with a deep and diverse resume in enrollment management, financial aid operations, and education. For the past seven years, he worked at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL where he most recently served as the Director of Enrollment Management Analytics. In that role, he designed, created, updated, and evolved existing and new analytic reports to assist with strategic decision making foreffective short- and long-term enrollment and recruitment. Prior to this position, he was the Associate Director of Financial Aid Operations where he monitored compliance with Federal, state, and university policies as well as serving as an adjunct instructor in Business Quantitative Methods. At Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL where he was the Manager, Transplant, he developed budgets and allocated resources as well as provided leadership and coordination for physicians and clinical staff.
His academic experience included serving as a technology assistant at West Morris Central High School in Chester, NJ where he was involved in planning computer-related activities for both students and staff, and he was an instructor at various schools including Rye Country Day School in Rye, NY and St. John’s Country Day School in Orange Park, FL.

Mulrooney, who will start at Manhattan College on June 3, is a graduate of Brown University with a BA in Sociology and also has an MS in Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
