Mission Month Celebrated Throughout April

More than 30 events are scheduled during April that reflect the College’s Lasallian heritage.

Mission Month bannersThroughout the month of April, Manhattan College commemorates its core Lasallian educational mission by affirming the mission-focused activities and events that reflect our contemporary community and rich Lasallian heritage.

"Our College mission calls us to engage in a kind of education that is deeply personal and relational, that aims to assist in the development of the whole person – mind, body, and soul – and that challenges and supports students in using their intellect to contribute to the common good," wrote President O'Donnell in a letter to the Manhattan College community about Mission Month.

We will also celebrate our annual Jasper Giving Day on Thursday, April 7, the Feast Day of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, the founder of the Christian Brothers.

A sampling of the diversity of mission-centric events and programs are highlighted on the Mission Month calendar
