Manhattan College to Host Safe Halloween on Friday, Oct. 25
The College’s campus will turn into a maze of trick-or-treat delights for local children.
On Friday, Oct. 25 from 4:30-6:30 p.m., student members of Kappa Delta Pi, Manhattan College’s education honor society, will host their annual Safe Halloween event for all Bronx children.
More than 40 of Manhattan College’s on-campus clubs and organizations will participate in the annual event. Each organization will host their own area of campus for eager trick-or-treaters, and will be handing out candy, prizes, and providing games for children of all ages. Kappa Delta Pi members also donate books for children to choose from and take home after the event.
Children should arrive on campus at Manhattan College – 4513 Manhattan College Parkway, Riverdale, NY 10471 – in costume, ready for trick or treating, fun and games. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
For more information about the event specifically, please contact Ruth Zealand, Ph.D., adviser for Kappa Delta Pi and professor of education, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (718) 862-7493.
