Manhattan College Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day 2018

A lively contingent of Manhattan College alumni, faculty and friends marched along Fifth Avenue on Saturday, March 17, in the 257th annual New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Donning festive green sashes, woolen Irish sweaters, and a varied assortment of Jasper gear, more than 300 members of the Manhattan College community marched along Fifth Avenue this weekend in the New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The sunshine and chilly air on Saturday also provided the perfect backdrop to a spirited performance by the College’s renowned Pipes and Drums band, which is the longest-participating college marching unit in this parade.

A pre-march breakfast reception for the Jasper Green contingent was also held that morning at Midpoint Bistro & Bar, inside the Club Quarters Midtown Hotel, and garnered more than 150 alumni, students, faculty, and friends of the College.
