Pi Mu Epsilon

Pi Mu Epsilon is dedicated to the promotion of mathematics and recognition of scholarly achievement in mathematics. The National Pi Mu Epsilon Council sponsors an annual conference in conjunction with the Mathematics Association of America’s annual MathFest. The organization also sponsors a journal that features papers from mathematics students and faculty.

The New York Lambda chapter at Manhattan University was chartered in 1961. At Manhattan University, Pi Mu Epsilon members volunteer their services as tutors and are encouraged to participate in the regional mathematics conferences.
