National honor society for adult learners

Alpha Sigma Lambda is an honor society which partners with universities to celebrate the scholarship and leadership of adult students in higher education. It is devoted to the advancement of scholarship and recognition of nontraditional students continuing their education.
The first chapter was originally founded in 1946 at Northwestern University and Manhattan University’s chapter was founded in 2012.
Eligibility
To qualify for membership, undergraduates must have:
- completed at least 114 credits at Manhattan University in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies
- earned a minimum 3.7 GPA
