alpha epsilon delta crestAlpha Epsilon Delta, the national honor society for health pre-professionals, was founded in 1926 to encourage and recognize excellence in pre-professional health scholarship. It functions as both an honor society and a service organization encouraging members to participate in civic engagement activities.

The honor society produces a biennial publication, The Scalpel, and provides opportunities for members to attend an annual convention and compete for scholarships.

Manhattan College established its chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta in 2017.

To qualify for membership, undergraduates must have:

  • at least a 3.2 GPA in math and science courses
  • at least a 3.2 overall GPA in all courses
