The Manhattan University Climbing Club is for students who want to improve their climbing skills, or start building them. All students are welcome to join, regardless of past climbing experience. The club works to facilitate personal growth, vulnerability, and acceptance through climbing, team building activities, and open, honest conversations. The club’s meetings alternate between meeting on campus and meeting at a climbing gym. Practice skills such as knot tying, belaying techniques, climbing skills, and goal setting. The Climbing Club also raises money for two philanthropies: the Honnold Foundation, and the Rene Rosario Memorial Scholarship Fund.
