Recognizing a Legacy of Student and Alumni Success
As successive generations of alumni well know, excellence and ethics are deeply embedded within Manhattan University’s cultural DNA.
This commitment remains strong, as evident in the wide recognition our University continues to earn from prominent media sources and our peers. Consider these highlights from the past year:
- The Wall Street Journal’s 2025 Best Colleges in the U.S. ranked Manhattan 52nd among America’s 500 leading academic institutions — placing us in the top 10%. We also ranked 20th nationwide in terms of alumni salaries.
- In a new college ranking by Forbes, Manhattan placed 41st in the nation in terms of our graduates’ high median 10-year salary of $148,800, exceeding that of institutions such as New York University and the University of Chicago.
- The University won recognition as a Gold Status Military Friendly School in the Military Schools Survey, the nation’s longest-running ranking of colleges and universities that offer the best educational experience for our nation’s veterans.
- Manhattan has achieved a Best Colleges rating from Money magazine, based on criteria including alumni salaries, cost of attendance, financial aid and graduation rates.
- Newsweek named the University among America’s leading engineering programs in terms of career readiness and return on investment, thanks to its “blend of academic rigor, practical experience and industry connections.”
- The Payscale College Salary Report has placed Manhattan in the top 2% of America’s Best Universities for a Bachelor’s Degree, based on the earning potential of all alumni and outpacing top institutions including USC, Wesleyan and the University of Chicago.
- For the eighth consecutive year, the Princeton Review ranks Manhattan as one of America’s best institutions for undergraduates and also places us among the best colleges in the Northeast.
- In addition, Manhattan ranks 13th in the nation in U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 listing of the best regional colleges and universities in the North — climbing from 16th place in 2023. The University also made the top 50 best-value colleges in the region, rising to 49th from 57th the previous year.
Our University community continues to owe much of this ongoing success to the loyalty of the many generous alumni and friends whose names appear in this issue of our Honor Roll of Donors. Thank you for helping to ensure that new generations have access to the many advantages of a Lasallian Catholic higher education.
