Overview

I am an Associate Professor of Business Analytics & CIS In the School of Business @the College.
I like to play with data, I am a Data Engineer.
I Joined Manhattan College in August 2014.
Before that:

  • 10 years as an Assistant/Associate Professor @West Texas A&M University.
  • 4 Years as a Visiting Associate Professor @the U. of Arizona, Seconded to the U. of Sharjah, UAE.
  • 3 Year as a Senior Software Engineer & Architect @IBM, Research Triangle Park, NC;
    I Left IBM On Jan-2000.
  • Senior Software Engineer @US West Communication (Denver, CO).
  • Software Engineer @the Knowledge-Engineering/Corporate Reference Databases group(s),

I had my Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the U. of Arizona.
(1) a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems from the U. of Arizona.
(2) a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from the U. of Arizona and
(3) a Master's Degree in Mathematics from the American University of Beirut
         Malcolm Kerr was the President of the University then.
and my Bachelor of Mathematics from the Haigazian College in Beirut Lebanon. 
I am origionally from a small town in the Mountains of Southern Lebanon.

Research & Scholarly Activities

I am a Data Engineer with a lot of Statistics, Mathematics and Software Engineering Knowledge.I am interested in building sets of Computing Tools for the "Non-algorithmic non-shell Programmer" that allow digital humanities researchers to perform Visual Data Analytics on corpora of data to discover patterns and see what they have not-seen before in the bodies of text and their Meta-Data.
