Complete Manhatten College course requirements and immerse yourself in Spanish culture during a semester abroad through the "Manhattan College in Madrid" program! Students form a close-knit community and are supported by on an onsite program director. Past editions of the program have offered coursework in Spanish, Religious Studies, Communications, Political Science, Sociology, Women & Gender Studies, and English.

Dates Offered

This is a full semester-long program offered in the following terms:

  • Fall semester: early September through mid-December
  • Spring semester: mid-January through early May

This program is open to all majors. The courses offered vary from year to year, but past editions of the program have offered coursework in Spanish, Religious Studies, Communications, Political Science, Sociology, Women & Gender Studies, and English. Courses are taught in English.

Housing

Housing is provided at an off-campus student residence as part of the MC room & board fee charged to all participating students.

Airfare

Round-trip airfare between New York City and Madrid is provided to all students as part of the MC room & board fee charged to all participating students.
