Rome, Italy (Winter)

Spend winter intersession in Rome, Italy, earning required academic credit while studying Catholic Thought with Manhattan University faculty. Using the city itself as the classroom, students will engage directly with churches, sacred spaces, and works of religious art that illuminate the historical development of sainthood and spiritual tradition. The program also includes an overnight excursion to Assisi, expanding the experience beyond Rome and into the broader religious and cultural landscape of Italy.

Logistics

Participants on this program will travel with a group of Manhattan University students and will be led by an MU faculty member. Tuition, excursions and cultural visits, round-trip flights out of New York City, housing in shared rooms for the duration of the program, some meals, and international health insurance are included in the program fee.
