Manhattan University Pre-College Tuition and Fees

Manhattan University Pre-College courses offer high school students a unique opportunity to explore academic interests, gain hands-on experience, and taste university life.

These two-week university courses are designed for rising 11th- and 12th-grade high school students. Each summer, students are given an opportunity to experience life on campus and in a college classroom here in New York City within a premier university.

Our program is a collection of hands-on, highly interactive courses that foster personal growth, credit toward an undergraduate degree, and a chance to work with industry professionals and faculty. Our courses encourage independence,  networking, and a chance to experience a multicultural environment with both domestic and international students.

Participants will work with highly qualified and caring Manhattan University faculty, administrators, and alumni. These courses are in-person during the summer, and students may take advantage of our dorms and meal plans.

Participants can commute every day or stay on campus. Those staying on campus (extra cost: see residential add-on) will have after-class activities to socialize with other students and the option to visit New York City's iconic locations (additional cost). Commuters who would like to join after-school activities, please contact our enrollment team for more information.

Our pre-college courses offer 3-credits upon successful completion that may be transferred to other institutions upon matriculation. Manhattan University will honor all credits awarded as part of the program toward a student's undergraduate degree.

Manhattan University will attempt to give participants at least two (2) weeks’ notice if an event is rescheduled or canceled. Please make sure you provide a valid email address and phone number during registration. If Manhattan University cancels events for any reason, you will receive a full refund less any registration processing fee. If the student cancels attendance (i.e., Covid19 positive case or quarantine, out-sick, change of school) to the program for any reason and provides at least two (2) weeks’ notice of cancellation before the program start day, the participant will also be entitled to a full refund less the one-time registration processing fee (if this exists).

Cancellation of attendance by the participant with less than two (2) weeks’ notice forfeits the participant’s rights to a refund. Also, please keep in mind refund processing usually takes 4 – 6 weeks (this timeframe is dependent upon your financial institution).
