Our curriculum is built on Malcolm Knowles’ concept of andragogy, the art and science of helping adults learn.
We believe that adult students are self-directed and have a problem-centered (vs. subject-centered) orientation to learning. Therefore, our courses will address your needs by providing direct, concrete experiences and instruction so that you can apply your learning immediately. Our faculty take a developmental approach to teaching, so you will be provided with ongoing feedback and given many opportunities to practice your learning.
