As the national honor society for radiological sciences, Lambda Nu aims to foster academic scholarship at the highest academic levels, promote research and investigation in the radiologic and imaging sciences, and recognize exemplary scholarship. With more than 180 chapters nationwide, Lambda Nu offers support and networking opportunities for students studying:

  • radiography
  • radiation therapy
  • nuclear medicine
  • diagnostic medical sonography
  • cardiovascular-interventional technology
  • mammography
  • computed tomography
  • magnetic resonance imaging
  • bone densitometry

The Manhattan University chapter was established in 2007.

Eligibility

To qualify for membership, undergraduates must:

  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5;
  • Have a major course GPA of 3.8 or above; and
  • Demonstrate high professional standards in a clinical internship
