Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society for business programs accredited by AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

Beta Gamma Sigma seeks to:

  • encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, and personal and professional excellence in the practice of business
  • foster an enduring commitment to the founding principles and values of honor and integrity
  • encourage the pursuit of wisdom and earnestness
  • support the advancement of business thought and to encourage lifelong learning
  • enhance the value of Beta Gamma Sigma for student and alumni members in their professional lives

Eligibility

To qualify for membership, undergraduates must:

  • have a major in the O'Malley School of Business
  • have completed a minimum of 3 semesters at Manhattan University
  • rank in the top 10% of the senior class or in the top 5% of the junior class
