Dr. Chasek is the author and editor of several books on international environmental policy, including The Roads from Rio: Lessons Learned from Twenty Years of Multilateral Environmental Negotiations, Global Environmental Politics, 5th edition, The Global Environment in the 21st Century: Prospects for International Cooperation and Earth Negotiations: Analyzing Thirty Years of Environmental Diplomacy. She also published articles on the United Nations and multilateral environmental negotiations. She is also the editor of the Earth Negotiations Bulletin, a reporting service on environment and development negotiations at the United Nations.
2007: Fulbright Senior Scholar Award for research at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
