Manhattan College’s annual Christmas tradition is back.
On Sunday, December 8, Manhattan College’s singers and orchestra will host A Festival of Lessons and Carols, a celebration of festive music combined with reflections on the meaning of the season.
Doors open at 3 p.m., preludes begin at 3:30 p.m., and the full program will start at 4 p.m. The event is free and open to everyone, including all students, faculty, staff, alumni and the local community. No tickets are required.
Prior to A Festival of Lessons and Carols, join fellow Jaspers and their families on campus for a Jolly Jasper Mingle – light fare, desserts and Jasper cheer to welcome Santa Claus and his elves. Kids can enjoy cookies and milk, while Jaspers can mingle and toast the holiday season. The event will start at 2 p.m. in Café 1853 in Thomas Hall.
Registration is $15 per person. Children ages 12 and under get in free and go home with a gift from Santa. Advanced registration is required. As it is the season of giving, we will be collecting unwrapped toys to be donated to Toys for Tots.
