When the spring semester concluded in May 2013, 10 undergraduate students shifted into overdrive in pursuit of knowledge, as part of the new Jasper Summer Research Scholars program. Through diligence, systematic inquiry, and with the guidance of their faculty mentors, they made discoveries — in their respective fields and in themselves.
This year, the program awarded five full awards and five supplemental awards, providing recipients with the academic and financial support to design and implement a research, scholarly or creative project with the goal of sharing their findings with others.
