Activity Descriptions:

The arrival of AI assistants like Siri and the explosion of AI tools like ChatGPT and DALL-E have unsettled our notion of what it means to be human and how we will live together in a technological future. We will work with generative AI like ChatGPT and discuss how AI will affect life in the home, workplace, and economy.

AI technologies can affect our entire lives, everything from how we work to how we talk with one another. Through interactive discussion and analysis, participants will grow their understanding of how AI is already critical to social interaction and how it may revolutionize our expectations for the future. Specific areas of debate include AI at home, school, work, and religion; how AI changes the economy and politics; and how we will build new kinds of human-to-human and human-to-machine relationships in the future.
