Our academic support services include one-on-one peer tutoring, which can help you master class material at your own pace.
At Manhattan College, you can succeed. We’re here to help.
You will have access to a range of supportive services, whether you want homework help, have a learning disability, or simply need to develop better study skills. Our dedicated teams across four different centers and programs on campus are here for your benefit.
The Center for Academic Success (CAS) has two locations — the Learning & Writing Center and the Leo Learning Center. These offices, conveniently spread across campus, will provide you with a quiet space to study with your peer tutor, or engage in small group study sessions. We also offer workshops and have an open door policy with extended hours to accommodate your busy schedule. All services are free of charge.
Our Specialized Resource Center (SRC) is a resource for all members of the Manhattan College community with a disability including individuals with a temporary disability, such as those resulting from injury or surgery. We offer a variety of aids and academic adjustments designed to ensure full participation in all aspects of campus life. All of our services are voluntary, strictly confidential and free of charge.
We offer two special opportunity programs specifically for eligible New York State residents who meet certain criteria, the Higher Education Opportunity Program and the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program. Both programs offer special services and support for qualified students.
