All students with Manhattan College parking permits may park in the 240th Street parking lot and the Manhattan College Parking facility (levels 1-3 for commuter permits and levels 4-5 for 24-hr permits). See posted parking lot operating hours. From 4:30 p.m. to 2 a.m., students with permits are authorized to park in faculty and staff areas. The College reserves the right to restrict parking to accommodate special events on campus. Commuter students with permits who intend to remain on campus past 2 a.m. are required to obtain a temporary overnight permit at the Public Safety office.
Temporary Permits & Parking Permit Decals
When a student’s college registered vehicle is being repaired, the student must obtain a temporary parking permit for the non-college registered vehicle at the Public Safety office.
If a vehicle does not have a decal affixed, the vehicle will NOT be permitted to make use of the parking facility unless a visitor's parking fee of $5 (per day 7 a.m. to midnight only) is paid at the Student Financial Services office. You must receive proper form from the Public Safety office before payment can be made. All payments must be done during office hours. Overnight parking is permitted between the hours of 12 a.m. and 7 a.m. and the fee is an additional $5. Vehicles must be registered at the Public Safety office during office hours to obtain this parking privilege.
During intersession/spring break or when classes are not in session, the Broadway Parking Facility and other general parking lots maybe temporary closed. Please contact the Public Safety office for further parking instructions.
Parking in the Neighborhood
Note: Fieldston is a private residential area, where public parking is prohibited by law. Violation is considered trespassing and can result in a $5,000 fine. Vehicles in violation will be towed.
