Mid-Year Orientation will take place January 23-25, 2016. This program will serve as an essential introduction to Manhattan College for new and transfer students. You will have many opportunities to connect with other new and transfer students, various Manhattan College administrators and offices, and current student leaders.
New and transfer residential students will move into their assigned rooms throughout the day. An evening social gathering will be organized by the Residence Life department to connect you with fellow new and transfer students. Resident Life staff will also be there to answer any questions you might have about life in the residence halls.
The Admissions Office and the Student Life Division will formally welcome you as Manhattan College students. To help get you acclimated to the surrounding neighborhood, current student leaders will offer tours of the Riverdale and campus communities. We also invite you to our welcome back Mass in the Chapel of De La Salle and His Brothers later that evening.
The Student Activities Office – in conjunction with the Orientation Office, other departments, and student organizations – will host a lunchtime Activities Fair and Resource Browse. This is an opportunity for you to get involved on campus and to make connections with students and administrators. The Admissions Office will then host an academic planning session and a student life panel to answer any questions you might have about the college.
Please note: New and transfer students will receive their Manhattan College ID cards at the January 25 Activities and Volunteer Fair.
A detailed schedule of these events will be posted shortly. If you have any questions, please contact the Orientation Office at (718) 862-8050 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
